Membership Types
Life
A one-time payment of $2,000 (or five consecutive payments of $400).
Once a Life membership has been purchased, members must register for the conference prior to the March 20th deadline (or is subject to the late registration fee). Pre-register for the conference on the latest Convention page.
Patron
An annual fee of $200 provides special support for SSCA, and includes convention registration fee, subscriptions to the four regional association journals, and listing in the convention program.
Once a Patron membership has been purchased, members must register for the conference prior to the March 20th deadline (or is subject to the late registration fee). Pre-register for the conference on the latest Convention page.
Premium Affiliate
An annual fee of $150 provides special Premium Institutional support for SSCA from September 1st to August 31st and includes all of the following benefits:
- Listing on SSCA website
- Listing in program
- Free job announcement post
- Complimentary 1-yr graduate student membership
- 10% discount for program/app ads and Grad fair/UHC sponsorship tables
Once a Premium membership has been purchased, members must register their included grad students for the conference prior to the March 20th deadline (or is subject to the late registration fee).
Sustaining
An annual fee of $150 includes both the annual membership and registration to the convention.
Once a Sustaining membership has been purchased, members must register for the conference once registration opens but prior to the March 20th deadline (or is subject to the late registration fee.)
Institution
An annual fee of $125 is available to higher education institutions and provides special support for SSCA from September 1st to August 31st and includes all of the following benefits:
- Listing on SSCA website
- Listing in program
- Free job announcement post
- Complimentary 1-yr graduate student membership
Once an Institutional membership has been purchased, members must register their included grad students for the conference prior to the March 20th deadline (or is subject to the late registration fee).
Regular
An annual fee of $75 provides a one-year membership to the organization.
Emeritus
An annual fee of $50 provides a one-year membership to the organization. Emeritus membership is only open to retired faculty members.
Grad Student
An annual fee of $25 provides a one-year membership to the organization. Graduate Student membership is only open to current, full-time students.
